I am originally from Aliquippa, PA where my parents Janice and Sam still reside. My younger brother Nick, three years my junior, practices law down the hall from me! I attended St. Titus Elementary school in Aliquippa before attending Our Lady of the Sacred Heart High School in Moon Township (graduated in 1999). My travels then led to me Meadville, PA for my undergraduate studies at Allegheny College. Fortunately, my first two preclinical years of medical school were spent in Bradenton, Florida at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) Bradenton. I received my Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree June 8, 2008. My Internship and Internal Medicine residency were completed at UPMC Mercy in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania between 2008-2011.
I married my wife, Dana (Petronzi) Urick, October 20, 2012. My wife earned her Masters Degree at Duquesne University as a Physician Assistant and worked in Pulmonary Medicine for over 5 years. We live in Moon Township with our 11 year old Yorkie named Joey and have three daughters - one set of twins!
When not working, I enjoy cooking (especially Italian food), baking, dancing, listening to Frank Sinatra, watching comedy, learning about American History, blogging, spending time with my wife and three daughters, and getting to know other people. We Uricks like to laugh, as we believe laughter is the best medicine.

I am truly grateful for the Catholic Education I received at both St. Titus Elementary School and OLSH.
